Installed the smallest, lightest interior shelf unit I think I've seen in a 4R.

Seems ridiculous but I've been always wanting to add a shelf in this spot. Summer, the fridge/cooler lives on that side of the cargo area and I'm always looking for a little extra space (but keep minimal and open).

Saw something similar on a van dwellers Youtube vid and found this: Amazon.com

Surprising nice sturdy ABS plastic.

Gave our 2021 TRD Off Road Premium, Max, a nice foam bath. Been a few months and had a few rain storms here and there. Looks like we're in for more nice, sunny but chilly weather for a bit. Took the time to give it a good deep clean on the wheels and a ceramic detail spray.

I used Adams Wheel and Tire Cleaner and that works REALLY well! I've been using Chemical Guys W&T cleaner and it never cleaned it that good. Always left some shmutz behind.

Coming up on 4 years of ownership on 2/7/2025 with a little bit less than 25k miles.

Looks decent, will road test today. Sits back a tad from the window bc I used the retainer clip, no adaptor, seemed to be the cleanest install. Used the clip closer to passengers side vs center one so that the camera sits in the area where the wiper cleans.
Very nice & clean install!!!

Yesterday & today we took the Runner to Cinders OHV area in Flagstaff, AZ. Round trip of 280 miles. Cinders Rec. area was a trip! You are driving on small lava rocks. We drove up some of the smaller cinder hills but man they have some towering climbs. It was our first time doing some real off road driving. If anyone is ever heading out to the Flagstaff area and want to do some off road riding I recommend you check it out. I came across it by chance on you tube.

Completed a washer fluid tank relocation/replacement: I installed the Snowbound Customs washer tank (and removed the OEM plastic tank).* Tremendously expensive, but, IMHO, it is a really elegant solution--to my eye this thing is a work of art. (I had the powder coating done locally; the tank is basically invisible in flat black.)

I couldn't do the other common tank relocation options due to my ARB twin being installed in the void near the passenger-side firewall.

Again, it's spendy, but it is clean.

(I am not affiliated with the vendor of this product in any way aside from just being a satisfied customer.)

*Installed Wildpeak AT4W LT285/75R17 tires (34.1" according to the Falken web site) in early January--they rubbed on the OEM washer fluid tank.

Wrapped my OEM TRD Pro Grill. Wasn't difficult but it was tedious.

replaced front brake pads and rotors

highly recommend using two M8 1.25x 50MM bolts to remove the rotors!! It popped right off without issue

How is that mounted? Is it just the headliner sandwiched between the magnet and the metal mount?

Went from using 3M tape to gluing it so it's solid, no wobbling. Camera is super light. Filed a small notch in the retainer clip and routed the cable in the notch up into the headliner.

I had made a small revision by cutting a piece of plastic spacer I had laying around. This dropped the camera down about 1/4" and I angled it so the camera could face down a little more. The camera itself would only tilt so far.

Replace or resurface brake rotors? OEM or Aftermarket?
Toyota part sales and discount dealers made the decision easy for me.

So you got 2 OEM rotors for $130?

Got a link from which dealer you ordered from?
