He has 3rd row, that's why this panel come off and has space below it. The plastic interior panels on the 4Runner with 3rd row sits about 4" higher than the non 3rd row models. Ours without 3rd row has a panel that sits just about flush with the floor so there would be no room under it store anything at all.
Yep...3rd row FTW!

I'm new to car camping so I'm slowly adding and testing gear with weekend camping trips. Plan to make it out to the Utah/Colorado area next summer for a 2 week long trip. This was the 2nd trip with the boys

are those cot tents comfortable/worth it in general?
Yeah, I like them but I have 3 so they take up alot of space in the trunk. I feel a 3-4 man tent would take up half the space in the trunk the 3x Kamp-Rite CTC XL tent cots take up. But my boys like their privacy and lone sleeping space so it's the best solution for us.
Pros:
-Elevates you off ground
-Comfortable
-Takes about 3-5 mins per tent to setup
-Great for individual privacy and people who don't like sharing tents
Cons:
-If setting up multiple tents, it can be a pain (take me about 10-15 mins to setup 3)
-Takes up storage space if carrying multiple
-Buying multiple can be expensive
-Heavy (about 20-25lbs est per tent)
Finally got around to installing the 285/70r17 Nitto Ridge Grapplers on the FN FX Pro Matte gunmetal wheels. These Nittos are quiet as a mouse! Gained 1/2" in overall height (Nittos are about an inch taller than the 265/70r17 Duratrac's). Only slight rubbing on the front in reverse turns (Dobinson's 2.5" lift all the way around). Will correct that issue next week.
Transformer side out I see. I had mine installed square side out.
Didn't even realize the side lug option until the installer asked me which side I wanted out. Really digging this wheel/tire combo. Super quiet ride, and in my case with a 2.5" lift, only slight modification to the front fender wells (push liner forward mod/1" trim bottom fender and cut/zip tie inner side mud flaps back mod). Luckily no BCM required.
Finally got the 2 solar panels on the Baja Rack and wired to the Redarc BCDC. I'm taking off on Sunday for a road trip to Washington State via Death Valley, Eastern Sierras and a stop at Nitro to have 4.88's and a front locker installed!

Changed all my interior lights to Lasfit LED's (white). Thanks to the packing tape tip it was pretty easy getting the map lights out and replaced. The only one that gave me any issue was the dome. I ended up having to remove the whole assy and bend the tabs to fit the "festoon" type bulb.
If you get these be advised they are BRIGHT. I ended up keeping the maps off as the dome provides a plethora of illumination. Here's a comparison of the new vs the stock yellow.

Which redarc bcdc do you have and solar panels? If you don’t mind me asking. I have the 1225d and i’ve been looking for a compatible panels for it. Thanks!!
