Cleaning up the car and had to get under the hood and look what I found. It is amazing how fast squirrels can get in and make a mess. In the nest I found the wire connection that was chewed off, I looked all over and I didn't see any chewed on wires. Then I realized that this was the tank sensor connection from my camper. The little bugger chewed it off the trailer and dragged it into his nest for a late night snack. I'm so glad I evicted him before he started on the 4Runner.

Squirrel has good taste, who wouldn’t want to sleep in a 4Runner.

Yeah, with the abnormally warm weather, my ground squirrels are popping up. So I was out with my 10/22 doing some squirrel patrol. Stopped to take a break and have a dark beer and took this photo yesterday.

Well, I haven't "done" anything with them yet, but my new TRD wheels arrived via UPS. $644 brand new for the full set, delivered, thanks to that big TRD sale last week.

Re-installed my stock rear springs
I had installed Dobinson shocks and springs two years ago, and the rear lifted more than expected. Since I kept the 4Runner fully-loaded most of the time, it didn't look too bad.
After selling my RTT and removing most of my camping and recovery gear, my rake has now increased to 2.5". Before trying other springs or spacers, I wanted to reinstall my stock springs to establish a baseline.
The 4Runner now has 0 rake (measured hub to fender). I assume I'll get reverse rake with gear loaded, but I'll try this for a while and see what it needs.

Finished up the roof rack a couple weeks ago. Pumped with how it turned out.

They're actually Icon Alloys Alpha wheels in gunmetal grey 17x8.5, 4.75" backspace and 0 offset.
Tires are 265/70/17 Falken Wildpeaks in E rating. On stock suspension these actually rubbed on my passenger side lower bumper cover. Ended up just doing the fender liner mod and trimmed both sides of the bumper cover.
