How is the bureaucracy and politics to blame when the tracking info stops at the NJ facility? It's the USPS infrastructure and personnel. It left the vendor, went into the system, then disappeared at a main hub. That has nothing to do with politics, a virus, nor anything else other than the USPS.

USPS has been forced to not allow overtime for its employees. In turn, less mail/packages are arriving on time to "prove" overtime is required (or more employees) to successfully handle the volume. It indirectly relates to a virus and politics in that the virus has highlighted an inefficient process that was being propped by additional labor hours (at a premium labor rate). The challenge is understanding how much of this is real, or have the USPS employees just been exploiting a system and it's finally caught up with them due to a pandemic.

But none of this has to do with modding our trucks, so back to that.

Unfortunately there is some blame due to politics.

Made my Yakima 16cf box fit on top of my 2020 PRO.

I had to put the front crossbar in front of the limiter screw to make this box fit... and I also had to dremel a little bit off the bottom part of the lid in the back. This rack is a pain to use!

Installed Boss Strong Box!

I installed my 4Runner Boss Strong Box today. It looks really good and it will be a pretty nice box for security and carrying camping gear. It arrived nicely packaged and in great condition. The only issue was the brackets that hold the D-loops were drilled about 1/8" off so they couldn't be bolted down. Boss called me the day before it was delivered and told me this may be an issue due to them noticing their group of brackets were off. They promptly sent me some a couple days later.

Only thing I need to do is run across the street to Lowe's and grab some Nylock nuts so the turnbuckles don't come loose.

I can't wait to use this thing!

Four night camping trip out in Southeast Oregon. Seattle to Bend, OR then nearly 75% off pavement all the way down to the Alvord Desert and Steens Mountain. Up to John Day, OR and back to Seattle.

The box looks great, is it easy to access without a ladder?

I would have believed any of the above, had there not been other packages delivered in the interim from other vendors. The current issue I'm having stems solely from incompetence in the NY/NJ hub area.

To keep it mod related...it's holding up progress on my mods!

I guess it depends on one's definition of easy . The box opens up from either side and I'm 5'8"... so I would open up one of the 2nd row doors, grab a hold of the rack and hoist myself up on the door jamb, then step on the rear tire to finally get to it.
