Thanks! The aFe is an awesome intake. It's definitely loud when you're flooring it but really quite with "normal" driving. I love the sound of it at WOT. The install was very simple and clean. Overall, I would recommend the kit to anyone. It's a solid quality product.
Go with the Limited. You won't regret it one bit.
On a side note, my new headlights came in and I sent them to TRS to get retrofitted for projectors. I should have them back in about 2-3 weeks. I'm pretty damn excited about the HID projectors as I feel they should have been standard on the 5th gens. Now to figure out how to get some LED tails.

Let me know how much you want for your current headlights... ;)
BTW, aeroskin came in last night.. Boy, was that a let down! I thought it was something that was installed with screws and push pins, and all that thing is is a plastic piece with 4 lines of adhesive.. 0_0

Why did you expect it to have screws? I think you were expecting the bug deflector type install. Everything the Aeroskin is, is in its name. It's literally a second skin for the edge of the hood.
I'm most likely going to send in my current headlights to get retrofitted so I can have a "Core" set for projector retrofits if anyone else is looking to get it done.

yes, that's exactly what I'd expected.

Got the AWS hood protector as well
Just got the AWS hood protector myself. Did not want a "bug deflector" type.
Thanks for posting this thread

^Most definitely. I love the look of the Aeroskin. It also helps with dead bugs on the windshield.
updates: My TE headlights came in and I sent them off to TRS to get retrofitted. I should hopefully have these back in the next 2 weeks. I will post up pics once they come in. I'm working out the GB details for the Projector retrofit right now but how does ~$600 for a complete HID projector retrofit including labor, sound? All you would need to do is send in your headlights to TRS.
I also just placed my order for a Shrockworks front bumper with full hoops, PIAA 520's and a front engine skid cover through the GB I put together. I should have these in the next couple of months.
My first off road excursion will be this Saturday which I am ridiculously stoked for. I'm meeting up some of the Toyota120 guys for a day at Hollister. I will get tons of pics and hopefully some video.
Powdercoated RiDE Spacer kits for nFab's will be ready by Thursday. I will also have complete kit pics up soon. I have unpainted kits ready to ship now.

Definitely would like to see a Hid retrofit group buy. What would TRS use for the components? These guys are the ones who run hidplanent from GA?
Keep us updated! I want to order the SW bumper, but lights come first for me.

A GB for retro fit would be nice, but since the bumper was purchased it might be a bit for me. Next thing up for me will probably be the Gobi stealth rack then a wrap.

The kit will be their FX-R bi-xenon projector kit with the E-46R extended shroud. The actual HID bulb and Ballast will be manufactured by Morimoto which TRS sells as kits.
I will be offering 3 different options for the GB. Retrofit Labor, Projector kit and HID Kit. Start saving your pennies. I should have the GB ready to go towards the end of Feb.

The 4R is an amazingly capable rig in stock form. Where has wheeling been all my life?!?!
The truck did really well for it's first time out there. I got into a couple ruts and started spinning but that was due to user error. Once I put it in first and turned on Atrac it pulled itself right out of there. I'm exceptionally satisfied with how the rig performed out there considering it was pretty much stock.
Anyway, here are some unedited but resized pics from yesterday. There are a ton.
btw- I will be making some big changes to my rig to compliment my newly found addiction.

Hey Mark, it was good meeting you and your sister on Saturday, I'm glad you both had fun. For your first time out offroading, you did well with what you have. The 4runner is very capable as you found out, with a lift and rock sliders and some armor, you'll be golden.
On another note, once you get used to using the ATRAC and manually shifting the gears, it'll become second nature on the trails. Too bad you didn't get to do 5 fingers, you would of loved it.
Anyway, great pics and be sure to check in over at 120 for future wheeling trips, you're always welcome to come along.
