Newbie here: Katzkin vs Roadwire
I get my SR5 2012 next week in blizzard pearl however I could not find a third row with leather. My first two projects will be wheels and tires and a leather kit. I have seen different leather upgrades on here and can't decide on a kit. What are your opinions on these products, I want to do it right the first time since I plan on keeping my T4R for many years. I know a lot of knowledge is here and would like some help. Than you in advance for all your help. Price? Quality?

I had the same problem with finding a 5th with leather and third row. I have the Katzkin leather in mine and love it. Honestly, it is higher quality than the Toyota OEM leather.

We've got the katzkin in my wife's 2007 camry se, I love it, we bought it with cloth and had the dealer install it, they contracted it out to a local shop, I think it cost 500 or 600 bucks for it, well worth it.....very good quality leather. I was going to do it again in the 4runner if I couldn't find one with leather already.....
you'll be pleased with the katzkin....

(limamike) I like the two tone looks great.
(Brockeverly) what did you pay for yours?
(ian97) any idea what it will cost?
What makes it very difficult, is the big gap in pricing. I have looked in a few places and price varies up to 8-900 dlls wth?

I had searched various sites for katzkin and can't remember for sure, but if I remember correctly it was around $1200 for the leather, then figure another $2-300 fo install but call around to some uplolstery shops and ask them, I'm guessing some shops can get it fairly cheap. I had mine all done through the dealership (Bill Knight Ford) here in tulsa, feel free to call their used car department and ask them who they use, then call them, just to get an idea what it would cost.....
Good luck....

$1400 installed from the dealer. This was for all three rows, if you have only two rows it is $1200 installed.

I'm in the market for a Trail Edition, but would like to put leather in it. Does the $1200 installed price included heating elements? I'd like to have heated leather, when I do it.

$1,200 installed for me. Also, as I noted in my post, the place I went through made it seem that two-tone, piping, stitching, etc don't matter and the cost is the same. So, give them some push-back if they try to charge you for extras.
