Dented Arm Rest?? Anyone else?

When I get in my truck, I rest my right elbow on the arm rest. It now has a dent in it. Anyone else experienced this? I am taking it back to the dealer for a replacement and then learning another way to get in if this is typical...

Feedback please.

P.S. NO FAT JOKES!! :-)

Nothing on mine and I'm pretty sure my elbow is there 90% of the time. Somebody else complained about this somewhere here though if I recall correctly.

Nothing on mine. I use it a lot, but don't really lean into it (no pimp-lean).

Arm rest dents

My 2011 has the same dent. I thought it might be some type of memory foam but, its just crap foam.
Let us know how the dealer handles it.

My 2010 also has the dent. It goes away and moves as I shift where my arm is positioned.

Not on the arm rest but I do have one on the center console pad where I rest my right arm while driving. Noticed it first time on my 1100 miles drive to Wyoming - it does seem to go away but I was kind of surprised to see it - I've concluded the interior on the 5th Gen is pretty cheap overall but hope it holds up??

I am pretty sure this is the armrest he is talking about. I cannot see how he would rest his right arm on the door armrest while getting in.

I am all about being at "home" but for $35,600 I think my home should remain pretty a little longer.

I drive a chevy colorado as a company truck for work. The center console in that truck also has a hole. It was never there before until another coworker drove the truck. I cut open the material to see what was going on. It turns out that the plastic under the cloth and thin layer of foam was cracked like a spider web. My brother has a passport and his did the same thing. Hopefully this isn't the issue. This would not be good. A new console cover would need to be replaced to fix it.
