Question Paint chip repair

No, I don't have any chips yet but I always like to keep chip repair on hand as soon as I get a new vehicle. It's been almost 20yrs since I bought my last one and things have changed.

So what's the preferred chip repair technique these days? Good old Duplicolor touch-up bottles, DrColorChip or some other magic bullet. BTW - My truck is Mag Gray in case it makes a difference.

Guys @ autopia recommend Dr. Colorchip and Langka.
I personally prefer old fashioned touch-up paint/toothpick application. It does a job and keeps me and my T4R happy.

I usually use a paper match (the torn end) and OEM touch up paint. The paper end of the match does not hold much paint and is very good to dab and fill the chip. Toothpicks that are frad on the end work well too!

Sounds like the best choice is still the old fashioned method. I suspected the new stuff would work but not as good as real paint. Time to get some and toss it in the glove box.

Thanks guys
