i am a seasoned pro and i get a headache everytime i read one of their schematics. what grinds my gears is the ignorant FRENCH Canadian engineers. everything has to be written in dual english/french. they could have made a separate french PDF. its confusing as hell. god forbid you nave to call them to explain what the hell they are trying to explain in the diagram OMG, you think gordan ramsey is mean by calling you a donkey. you have not seen anything yet.

lol love the warning, pretty much leaves the installer to hang out to dry if anything goes wrong even if they are qualified.

I think I will stay with when compustar comes out with their bypass module

Overreacting just a bit don't you think? Hit the start, let it run for a few to warm up or cool down depending on what you left the climate control on, open the door and strap the kids in then get in and hit the button and you're off. Easy peasy

Life is much too short to be driven insane by trivial deficiencies in Toyota's remote start process!!

LOL, these things are too light to be a paper weight.

How are YOU going to program it? I know how i would, LOL.

ADS/Idatalink, Forin, ExpressKit and FLashLogic all require a special proprietary update cable AND i know for sure ADS/Idatalink will require you to have an account to load software on it. You account would need to be verified that it is tied to a physical store.

I'm interested to see how you going to do this

can i get a popcorn emoji please?

Are you referring to the 2-way Data-Link port for serial communication with compatible remote car starters that comes with it?

It says that the Self-Learning algorithm automatically detects the vehicle during programming and adjusts

I am sure I don't know nearly as much about this as you do, but to me its worth $50 to give it a shot.
