I just did the rear diff and transfer case fluid today. I mucked it up a bit though. I used the silver crush gaskets on the rear diff instead of the thinner gaskets. Since I had already used them when I got to the transfer case I decided to reuse the old ones. No leaks from either. Question though - am I doing anything terrible by not changing those gaskets on the rear diff? My thought is if it doesn’t leak then I’m good. But if they do something silly like fuse to the diff then I’d like to get under there and fix my mistake.

I serviced both diffs and reused all gaskets, no issues

I am curious, for the transfer case - is it just one case of the Toyota transfer case oil to change it ?

Ok. Thats what I initially thought. A friend of mine did the service and said it took a little more than one.
Now the question, is it enough to just put one can / liter, or I have to pay another $60 for that 0.1 quart?

I’ve seen others post about using Ravenol 75w as an alternative

Don't cheap out on the oil. What's worse, $60 for the known correct oil or probably $2000 for a new transfer case? If your case was to fail, as unlikely as it may be, you can bet your bank account Toyota will sample the oil. If they find it to be the wrong oil, warranty void. For $60 it's just not worth the risk.

Does anyone have a link to a good gear oil pump they use to fill their diffs? I bought a shitty one from Harbor Freight (I know I know), and not only did the threads not fit the gear oil bottle but I litterally had to pump it 55,000ish times to fill my rear diff. It was not good.

I bought one at NAPA for like 12-15 bucks. Threads fit some bottles but not all. Don't really care, it sits on top of the bottle and gets down to the very bottom. Any pump you buy will require a bunch of pumping, just the nature of them. That is unless you buy gear oil in a 5 gallon pail and buy a pump for that pail but that gets expensive quick.

If there's no leaks you should be fine, I've done the same thing before. Just be sure to check frequently to see if it develops a leak.
If you're really paranoid, you can slowly remove the plug and shove your finger in there once it's free and do some one-handed yoga putting the new gaskets on. You'll only lose a couple ounces of fluid, which you can top off when you do the fill plug. I've also done that before
