2010 SR5 Rack & Pinion Leaking???

Have a 2010 SR5 (just turned 100k & 2yrs 6 months old), went to have an oil change. When it was picked up, we were told the rack & pinion was leaking and would cost a 'G' to fix. Anyone ever heard of this on the 5th gens?

that's too soon to have a leak. at 150,000 they usually start to sweat a little oil
