Possible power port location?

For those who have had their center console apart, is there enough room under the box to install another power port? Using this picture for reference I'm talking about installing another 12V power port next to the existing 120V power port.

Yes, there is enough room to install a 12V DC power receptacle in that location. Drilling the hole will likely be your largest challenge since you'll need a 1" hole and you're going to be at a weird angle if you drill from the view of your picture. If you rip the whole thing out you'd be better off drilling from the rear/underneath (no jokes), but I don't remember if there's any weird reinforcements underneath or not.

If you are going to drill it a spade bit is clean on plastic

I've drilled a few items and a spade bit makes a clean hole in plastic without trying to drift from center. Looks like a nice modification.
