ARB Twin Air Compressor Bracket for 5th Gen.
So as many of you know already, the ARB Twin air compressor (pictured below) is very annoying to mount yourself. It is really heavy, awkward, and the only place to mount it is hard to get to. I am pretty sure everyone that has this compressor already (Adio3x, Phillyd2, and myself) have had it installed professionally.
I took mine to a local shop to get installed. It cost a lot (~$400) for them to design, test, and install my bracket. This was more than I was expecting to pay, but they did an awesome job so I didn't complain. The owner of the shop has a 4th gen. 4Runner and said that if I got interest in the bracket on the forum he would be willing to make some more of them.
I will get some better pictures of the bracket soon, but it is completely bolt on using stock holes (5 bolts I think), and you only have to relocate one wiring harness (which is basically just removing it from its stock mount).
Also they made a mounting location for the air locker manifold on the same bracket, but I am sure this could be an option and might make the bracket a bit cheaper (less material) if it is made without the extension for the manifold.
The bracket is painted black and re-enforced along all key points.
I called the shop today and he estimated a price of close to $200 for making more brackets. I have to talk more with them but for now lets estimate $250.00 including shipping. This might change more or less depending on when I talk to the shop again, but I am just looking for anyone interested.
It is still expensive, and I still encourage you guys to ask around at local shops, but this could be a viable option if we can get a good price.
So far I know I have the following people interested. Anyone else?
1. RyanC
2. ColoradoFrosty
3. ??

Thanks for starting this Jangoforhire!
You can count me as a positive on this if it can happen fairly soon.
My compressor/locker/manifold is on it's way and I'll be itching to get it installed as soon as possible.

You can count me in as interested. Although I'd like the extension for the air locker mount as well if possible.

No problem! I know how annoying this thing is to get in so hopefully I can help.
Since this isn't a group buy I should be able to just take orders to the fabricator as they come in. I'll try and swing by the shop today or tomorrow and see if I can get a final price for you (I'll do my best to keep the total under 250 including shipping) and hopefully we can get one under production soon.
I'll post back with details when I have them.

Hi Jangoforhire, please add me tentatively. I have another bracket option in play that may or may not come through. I would be interested in the bracket with the manifold mount.

I don't have the manifold yet but I'm sure at some point in the near future I'll change my mind and decide I need it. SO . . . yes, include me in the manifold bracket group.
As a side note, I've read that there is a definite benefit(to the point of it being recommended) to have the manifold even if just using it for airing up tires. Interestingly enough I was told by the guys at TRDParts4U that based on what they were told by ARB that the manifold wasn't recommended (although nice to have) if just using it for tires.

Hmmm... well from what I have found we apparently have to have the manifold kit to use the compressor with the locker. (If I am wrong here let me know of course...)
On the ARB website they even state it is required with the CKMTA12: "Pneumatic supply and electrical control for ARB Air Locker(s). (Air Locker Manifold Kit #171503 required)"
Here is the ARB page for the CKMTA12:
ARB On-Board High Performance 12 Volt Twin Air Compressor (CKMTA12)

Yep, but I don't have the air locker . . . just want to air up tires. But knowing my abysmal track record (depending on perspective) for saying no to cool new mods I wouldn't be surprised if I ended up with it at some point . . . even if the 'justification' might be a bit thin.

Yeah... understood RyanC. I think that's a good call, I am the same way!
Having a locker on my old Toy Pickup... I really can't not get one on my rigs going forward.
Jangoforhire - I don't mean to be overeager, but can we go ahead and put in an order for the 3 Colorado boys, compressors with manifold brackets?

Light airtools would also be workable with the twin compressor and the manifold (check your tools for the CFM requirements)

Alright so it looks like EVERYONE is getting the bracket with the manifold mount.
So right now we are at
1. RyanC (with manifold bracket)
2. ColoradoFrosty (with manifold bracket)
3. Okki (with manifold bracket) MAYBE
4. Jaker (with manifold bracket) MAYBE
5. GrantK (with manifold bracket)
I am going to stop by the shop right now and ask for a final price and try to get the ball rolling on this. I don't want to place orders with them until I have the final price and you guys know you are 100% in. I will post back soon.
