T4R shock interchangeable w/ Tacoma sport shocks??

I have a 2010 4runner and I have a buddy who has a 2012 Tacoma Sport, He replaced the shocks in order to do a lift and Told me I could have them.

My question is will his shocks fit my 4runner? I was contemplating buying the Bilstein 5100 to help with nose dive but If I can use his and alleviate the nose dive I would much rather save the Money as he will give me his shocks for FREE!!

Any Insight would be appreciated.

I'm sure they would fit, but you wouldn't get any lift by changing to TRD shocks. Even if you meant to say you could get his springs too I don't think you would get lift out of it. But if you get Billy 5100's that are adjustable then you can get some lift.

I don't think the OP wants lift-his buddy does. Part numbers are different for the 2 vehicles on Bilstein HD's and 5100's so I doubt they would fit. Price is right though!

My buddy with the Tacoma lifted his truck, I wanted to know if his stock sport shocks would fit My 2010 4runner since he no longer needs them.
