Just a Crawl Control Pic

Hey guys here is my Trail climbing out of the Sierras this weekend. You can't quite see the angle but that root on the passenger side is a two foot sheer drop to climb over, a little nasty. I did get stuck briefly later on a steep climb, the first time Crawl Control has spun out on me, I just backed up and increased the speed a bit and climbed right out. I love crawl control!

Awesome pic!!! I really want to take a trip up north to do some wheeling!!!

Crawl control works biitchen for going down stuff too!

Using crawl control on sloooow setting here to tackle Diablo Dropoff in Borrego. Of course the pics don't do that hill justice. We went down right after a rain so it was very whooped out and slippery. Fun stuff!

I was tempted to hit crawl control on a 45 degree slope on Tuesday. I tried it with A-TRAC and the rear diff locked and started spinning and going to the right (which was a washout, and would have been a roll). Tried it without the lock, and made it further but not all the way.

I suppose in a pinch I could have done it if I had bothered to air down. I should have the vid of me trying this on Monday.

Me personally, I prefer going to 1st gear in the transmission in 4LO for most crawling, probably because I started out without that stuff.

Sorry, I can't help but think less of you when you won't take the time to spell things right or use proper grammar. Deal with it. I don't care if you're ESL either, because I am too.

I have a 2013 TE and this past weekend went out with a group. It did really well but I tried using crawl control to go down a steep slope which was a bit wet due to recent rain a little earlier. It started off going down fine even if it was a bit scary trusting it however when it got a bit steeper and started to lose traction sliding forward it would like sped up then slow down again and each time it slows too much and would start to slide then it would repeat after about the third time I was really moving and I thought screw this and took control and made it down.
Is crawl control not meant for downhill or did I do something wrong?
