Having sound/speaker issues - stock radio

Hi all,
2010 4runner owner.

Just began having issues several weeks ago and I couldn't find a similar issue in the forum.

My front speakers "went out" first. Then would come back occasionally. Now all sound is out (cd, radio, satellite radio).

What's weird is if I use the bluetooth on my phone, the sound plays perfectly. And then if I shut the engine off and turn it back on, it's "repaired the connection" and I get cd/radio/sat on the rear speakers. Just turning off the engine without using bluetooth does not resolve the issue.

Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks!

Before people who know what they talk about start reply with good ideas I would check Party Mode button to be sure it's not acting up. Did you try to push it and see if front speakers start working or feel any difference at all?

I think you have an ecu or multimedia interface issue. Toyota stereos are not wired like most. My good idea is take it to the dealer perhaps?

Thanks guys.

Not party mode. No difference whether that is active or not or switching between.

I think I'm going to have to try the dealer. Little concerned because I've been getting free XM (trial never expired) but workaround hassle isn't worth free XM (probably).
