Clearance Height With Lift Tires and Gobi Stealth Rack
Could someone with a similar set-up provide me with their overall vehicle clearance height?
2010 TE
Gobi Stealth Rack
OME 2884/2889 lift or Icon Stage 2 (still trying to make up my mind)
285/70/17 Duratracs
I'm trying to determine if the 4Runner will fit in my garage after I add the lift and tires (the rack is already on order). The lowest point on the garage frame is 83" and doing some rough measurements it looks like it will be very close.
Thanks in advance!

I'm running OME 2889's with a Baja Rack and stock size tires. I clear with about 4 inches to spare. I believe the Baja rack is ~5 inches tall. Not certain what the Gobi is.

I measured my Trail with Gobi
I just measured it up. It is 79 1/2 -80 inches High at the front which is the highest point. I have a 3inch OME with stiff front medium stiff rear that has a 1inch rake. I fit in parking garages that are 84inches or a brushless carwash. Go for it dude, Get the Gobi. Get the Rigid Leds while you are at it, they are a must have.

Thanks Balcs1- This is exactly the info I was looking for! Your truck is sweet and pretty damn close to how I'm looking to mod mine.
The Gobi is on the way - The Rigid LED's are on the short list after I pay for the lift and tires.
Is there anybody in Western WA that you would recommend for the lift install? I called ARB in Renton and they pointed me to Michales Toyota, but I usually like to stay away from the dealership as much as possible.

I think Balcs1 or someone else (I can't remember) did it at 4 Wheel Parts in Alderwood by the Alderwood mall. There's also Kent 4WD on Central Ave and Smith Street in Downtown Kent. I bought my rig and have it serviced (at least while it's still free) done at Michael's but I don't know if I would have them do my lift, just personal feelings no evidence of any right or wrong doing. When I get my lift I'll probably either go to 4 Wheel Parts or K4WD if I don't do it myself. I'm in Issaquah all the time, so I'll keep an eye out for you when you get it done. A lot of 4Rs here but not too many I've seen modded out.

Well i dont have any expirence with 4wheel parts directly (aside from buying some items online). I have only heard bad things about the ones out here in California, bad service, un familar with 4runners, etc. I would trust the dealer over 4wheel parts personally.

Places to get it done
I did go to 4wheel parts in Lynnwood and they actually did a damn good job for me. I had them install my Gobi and Leds and everything. Call and talk to Mike the Manager and ask him if I believe it was Matt who installed my $hit. He did a great job for me and the OEM lift plus wheels and tires were all priced competitive. All guaranteed work. Had zero issues. otherwise I have had Randys offroad in Smokey Point, Arlington/Marysville lift my Dodge Cummins and chip it, exhaust ad Intake, they also lifted my bros land cruiser and did good there. hope that helps. Tell Mike at Parts that Scott with the Silver 4Runner with the Gobi roof rack sent you. Judge for yourself go there and checkthem out. Talk to Matt who does the work. I had to discuss details with him before I commited...I wanted to make sure he was Legit and he was.
I hope that helps.
BTW, the Kent 4Wheel Drive place went Tits up a couple months ago. My Bro went there the day beore he was shutting it down. It is a difficult descision to pick someone you can trust to get it done right. F the Dealers for this though.

Bil- You should be able to fit in your garage no prob. I run a very similar setup and fit in my standard height 2 car garage.
btw- I have family in Issaquah. I might be up in your area in the next couple months with the truck. Let's get a trail run in.

Oh really? I guess I haven't driven down there in a while. Good to know. Oh well.
Thanks for the info on 4 Wheel Parts. Eventually we'll have to organize a little meet when we have all our trucks ready to go.

Thanks Balcs1 - That helps quite a bit. I'll drop by and speak to Mike at 4Wheel Parts on my way up to Everett later this week. Smokey Point is a bit of a haul for me, but I'm up in Hellingham every other week or so so it could be doable.

Sounds good Ride - Shoot me a PM when you're in town. Most of the good runs in the area are shut down for the winter but I'm sure we could figure something out.

Sounds like a plan!
I live close to downtown Issaquah so keep your eyes open when you're out my way for a Silver TE with a USMC decal.

Sounds good. I have custom National Park Plates with G8R B8 on them and a silver German Shorthaired Pointer hitch cover. We head over to Fischer's meats every other week or so as well as Gemini Fish market. So I'll keep an eye out for you

RiDE, definitely would like to meet up with all y'all (that's the Louisiana coming out in me) when you're up here. Followed your build thread, be awesome to see it in person.
