Should I find another Tire shop?

My wife bought me some XD Addicts 17X9 for Christmas (How cool is she?) But Discount Tire ordered an +18mm offset. I have seen everyone running -12 mm offset. What's the deal? I called and the guy said it's correct for my vehicle. What do you guys think before I go to have them installed?Should I find another Tire shop?-kmcxd_addict_b_ci3_l-jpg

If you're keeping it stock, you'll be fine. However, it will look better with a negative offset. It will be required if you're lifting and getting larger tires.

It will have a very similar wheelwell position as stock wheel, with a pos 18mm. (tucked inside fender)
Offset from 0 (wms at center of rim) to a more neg offset (WMS pushed further in from center of rim) will put your outer lip of wheel closer to outer wheelwell giving a wider stance. Too much pos offset will push tires out of wheelwell and spray dirt all over your side and arms if your windows are open- among other fitment issues.
0 to -12 for a 9"wheel will keep your tire just inside to flush with the fender.

wms = wheel mounting surface

I ordered Cooper AT3's 275/70/17 for them. I like the look of the negative offset from what I have seen on here.
