275/70R17 = no rub?

Thinking of putting BFG All-Terrain 275/70R17's on my 4Runnner Trail Edition.
Going with Konig Countersteer X wheels.
The 275/70R17's are 31.2" OD and 11" section width on an 11" wheel. Will this eliminate the tire rub problem guys have with the 285's and a stock suspension/no lift?

Thanks!

I think the Trail Edition must have more clearance because I put 285/70/17 Duratracs on my stock wheels with no rubbing at stock height (I did do the front fender mod that takes about 2 minutes). I had a tiny amount of rubbing only on the driver side mud flap, only when making a slow braking left turn at full lock. An alignment with more positive castor solves that.

I have 275/70R17 Cooper AT3's on XD Addicts 17X9 w/ -12mm offset and they rub in reverse and rub just a little at full lock in drive (stock suspension)

Why a 11" wide wheel? You will be the first to run something that wide. Most are running between 8"-9" wide on a 17" wheel.

X's are 17x8.

You should be fine. If something rubs, move the liner or hack it off.

Oh, woops...my bad, typo. I meant 11" section width on an 8" wheel.

Why do you say forget the 275?
I have a 2014 limited and just got some 17 x 9 -12 offset as was looking at the 275, I have a 2.5" level kit. Is this a bad idea?

I rub on 275/70/17. General Grabber ATX with Eibach Pro Truck lift on 8.5" wide wheels. They rub the front mud flaps at full lock. 2.75" lift in front.

I have 6112s set at less than 2” with SCS BR6 and Cooper AT3 (pre-4S or XLT) 275/70R17. They rubbed a smidge even with this setup at full lock in reverse, but only on the interior plastic and lower fender flare / bumper area. Not close on body mount.

10 min with a exacto knife and heat gun fixed the issue.
