Bilstein 5160 installed

Finally got around to installing the Bilstein 5160 rear resevoir shocks that I ordered a while ago. I have seen these mentioned on a few threads but I haven't seen pics of any (well at least I've searched with no luck) Here is a pic of what they look like installed.

Looks great! May I ask what rear springs are you running with these and how does the combination feel (ride quality wise)?

<---

According to Bilstein, I'm the only guy in Canada to run these on a 4R. At least judging by their order histories.

As of right now, I'm still running the stock springs. I took the pic while the car was on the lift so it looks lifted. The rear is a little stiffer and that's what I wanted. It feels much better. I eventually plan on running 5100's up front with Toytec springs and Toytec superflex springs in the rear when funds allow.

How did you mount the reservior? Do you have a bracket behind the two straps? I just bought 5100 for the rear and may return them for the 5160 now that I see it on your truck. Thanks.

The shocks come with all the hardware needed to mount the resevoirs to the frame. Very simple install. Bilstein also sells an optional bracket that attaches the resevoir to the shock body itself. I may do this in the future.

There is no valving option. At least I did not have the oppurtunity to choose.

Sorry I'm so late to the game. I really don't visit this forum much anymore. If you still need it I can look up the part #'s I bought for mine. If I recall correctly, the shocks were vehicle specific. Again, sorry for the late reply.
