Need help with TPMS

Picked up my 2013 yesterday and noticed TPMS light is on while driving. I checked all tires including spare and adjusted pressure to 32 PSI. All 5 were set at 50 PSI. Does that mean dealer was trying to fix it and failed? I didnt get chance to drive far (less than 3 miles) after adjust, but should I be concerned? And if so, how is it fixed?

Stock tires and wheels?
5th Gens ECU's only read 4 btw and the spare doesn't have a sensor.

When I bought mine, it also had around 50psi in each tire including the spare. So I think that may be from the factory.

I have never had the TPMS light come on, you could always try disconnecting the battery for a minute or two to see if it resets. Or take it back and have them check it out maybe something is bad and needs replaced or reprogramed.

Our 2013 4Runner purchased in Dec 2012 had tires set at 46 PSI measured by me. They are still there and I've never had a TPMS light come on. I would take it back to the dealer. It's really their problem anyway.

Tpms help

I had the same problem with my car when I got my wheels painted. Discount tires messed up a small sensor which is making ur light come on.It is attached to your valve stem on the other side. No other way to fix it but to take it apart and put it back together correctly. You must of hit a bump or something. Just take it back to the dealership and they will fix it no problem.

35psi Is a solid number for tire pressure. That is what we set all of our tires at unless a customer is planning to tow something. 50psi is too high.

~~~~ How to tell if your TPMS is malfunctioning ~~~~
When you first turn your key and start your car look at the tire light. One blink and it stays on means its fine. If the tire light keeps blinking for 1 minute then stays on one of your sensors might be bad.
I see this all the time with aftermarket rims. Either the sensors aren't programmed correctly or one of the sensors is broken.
You can take it to any tire store like Discount Tire and have them check each wheel with their hand held TPMS scanner and they can tell you if there is a problem.
BTW, I have nothing to do with that ad for americantpms.com below that appeared automatically. They do have replacement sensors for about $40 each though if you need one.
Taking it to dealer this week. Hope it doesn't take long to fix since I've no spare time. Little discouraging but still crazy about this truck.
