spray or tint ?

What method is better for giving your truck's lights a smoked out look? I was thinking of re-tinting my 5th gen 4runner's windows this weekend and want to do the tailights and headlights as well.

anybody know which method is better? which is easier to remove incase you get a ticket?

but more importantly which looks better?

@Jesse1983 did a real nice job on smoking his lights, not sure how easy it is to remove though, but I vote spray tint

I would use Lamin-x so that you can remove it for resale. Plus it doesn't fade

Don't smoke the headlights. Why would you want to degrade your output, plus i think it isn't legal in CA. The rear only do a light smoke. If it is too dark and can't see the lights, you will be a target for cops.

I've used Lamin-x on all of my autos in various ways. I would get the lightest tint or you will get pinched. I've also used the clear in order to protect fog lights and headights from getting damaged.
