KDSS Actuator On while parked

I was cleaning my garage and noticed mechanical noise under my 2013 Trail. No key in ignition and all doors closed. It sounds like Rear KDSS Actuator. It stoped after 5 os so minutes. Is it normal?

What makes you think its KDSS noise over something like fuel vapor pump that is at the rear of the vehicle that comes on intermittently? Just curious. There is no pump for the KDSS. Just two accumulators and cylinders. These components are "on" all the time and require no power as its a hydraulic system with stored energy in the pre charged accumulators.

I've no idea. This rig is new to me. If it is vapor pump, is it supose to kick in? I imagine in summer heat it'll run a lot.

Yep, it's in the owners manual somewhere.

Not at all. Just do a search here for noise while parked or read it in your owners manual.

Thanks, now I can sleep at night (JK). Anyway, search yields nothing and in manual I only memorized 34 pages. Studying the rest as I go. Again, thanks for help.
