Does anyone have the Cornfed 1" spacer up front for the sole purpose of leveling a 5th gen TE?
Wondering if anyone has experience installing. Also, wondering if anyone has had problems installing a 1" spacer with KDSS? Please include photos if you have them.

Have a 1'' red ano ToyTec. They're all the same. Check my album for pics.

If you want to install a spacer, you will need longer studs for the front.

Also, it won't level the truck, but will decrease the front rake. 285s won't fit without rubbing unless you modifiy the front fender plastic and removing the front mud flaps (about a 10 minute job).

KDSS won't be affected one bit. Got that officially from Toyota and ToyTec. Also, it won't void any warranty unless you screw up the install.

From what I've learned, doing ANY leveling/lifting to the a KDSS equipped 4R is potentially problematic.

I'm in the same boat. Got a Toytec 2.5"/1.5" level kit and have recieved nothing but warnings on here about issues with KDSS.

Still trying to figure out how to level my TE.

altering a vehicle from it's stock form in anyway can be "problematic" don't let lazy inexperienced shops scare you away from modifying your 4R. Be aware of the possible issues plan and execute accordingly.

I'd be happy to do exactly that....just having trouble finding a shop to do the install.

The 1" lift spacers i ordered came and they are 1/2" thick. Looks like those really wont need longer studs?
I sent Cornfed an e-mail and they conformed that 1/2 spacers are right to get a 1" front lift. How is this possible? I'm confused.

Instead of spacers, I went with Bilstein 5100s set to 0.85, that gave me new shocks with additional travel.

I was going for level, the rear has Air Lifts but no increase in height. There was a 2 inch difference between the front and back when measured at the top of the fender well. I wanted to go with 1.75 but we put a floor jack under it, lifted to 1.75 and decided to go with 0.85. I looks almost level with a slight rake. I think without rear spacers 1.75 would have been too much.

If you go with spacers they look easy to install yourself. There is a good post by Antman in the mods sticky.

because your struts are not perfectly vertical when installed.... the measurement of the spacer is 1" from the highest edge to the strut center when installed on the vehicle.

The reply I got form Cornfed;
The coil spring assembly mount is at the midpoint of the lower control arm, it acts as a lever and doubles the amount of lift of the spacer on the spring assembly at the outer point (wheel).
It all makes sense now.

Bumping to the top because I am considering the same (1" cornfed front spacers to level the truck) on my 2015 limited.

Anyone have experience with this hardware or any other way to level the truck without replacing the XREAS or putting bigger spacers on (planning to run 265/70/17's so don't need a "real" lift)?

Spacers are your only option if you want to keep Xreas shocks. Toytec or daystar are the other options. If you put "5th gen" in front of your search term you'll get better results. The "real lift" isn't just about bigger tires but whether you plan to take it offroad or just stay onroad. Check out the build threads, SP8ball, I believe has a how to for install and pics that Antman helped him do, it is excellent and probably what you are looking for on spacers.

It might be a little different for your LE, but maybe @Antman knows, the pic he post will give you an idea of how it'll look, this was an SR5 but back then they looked the same as LE
