Worst Mod?
Some mods just aren't worth the time and/or money. Some don't meet expectations. Some sound great but never gets used.
What did you do that didn't work, didn't meet expectations, never get used, or are too expensive for their intended use???

My 2 12"s I spent a lot of money on and had in for a brief period of time. My build took and immediate right turn after I finished up the install and decided I'd rather have the space. Plus I got tired of head aches from how damn loud it was. I might go with an antman special and do the sub under the seat wayyy later on down the road.

12's aren't too bad, just gotta play with the gain a bit. I do agree about losing space though. I will have a solution for that once I actually get some down time from going to data link school and an exercise. One word... "Fiberglass"

I thought about the whole fiberglass thing but decided I wasn't feeling too froggy with it. I'd like to see some pictures when get time to do the box.

Sub in rear : took away cargo space.
Bought 265's duratracs:ended up doing a lift and "having to" change them to 285's duratracs
Gobi tool box: it's nice that it's powder coated but doesn't really hold much or is
that secure.
Replacing all the doors to kappas: not sure it i can honestly tell a difference between the factory speakers and kappas, when keeping factory headunit.
TRD intact: love the look but not sure it really made too much difference.
But it's all part of the journey and can't replace what I have learned along the way

for me, it was definitely adding halos to my HID retrofit. They looked great at first, but now 6 months on, and every single LED is not working. This happened progressively, starting about 2 months ago. The Retrofit Source offered to warranty them if I sent in photos, but they are epoxied behind my shrouds, which in turn are epoxied to the projectors.
If i were to do it all again, I'd go with CCFL. I still like the look, I'm just horribly disappointed with the longevity of the LEDs.

Viper Alarm, and most importantly not finding a shop that 1000% knew what they were doing, despite being a Viper dealer.
Thing ended up causing a very intermittent misfire that drove me insane for months, and eventually resulted in me paying to uninstall the alarm and getting the ECU replaced after 6-8 dealer trips. Really NOT worth the extra "security" to me.
Second one would be replacing the stock tires with 265 duratracs that got replaced with 285 duratracs 3 months later!

Not sure if I would call it a "mod", but my runner came with running boards. I like the look of the factory running boards but they are absolutely useless.
