* I have reserved the same area as last year; Campsite#2. We basically took over the entire Southwest section of Camp#2 from #21-#31 last year.
Last Years Trip : Click Here!
These spots are being held for us (once again The Cove Staff is
bending the rules and not requiring us to pay for the reservation in advance because they are awesome...).
These are very basic campsites. No water, no electricity, no Cable tv. You have a picnic table and a fire pit.
All are welcome!
Come camp out, relax and hit some trails.
Post up if you can attend, I NEED TO KEEP A RUNNING HEAD COUNT - I will keep track of everything. Hope to see friends, and meet some new ones!------ Antman
The link above explains everything, but here are some details-
*
Every road in The Cove is unpaved and either gravel or dirt. .
*There are easy/intermediate trails to drive on or hike/Mt Bike
***Most likely we will again be allowed at least some form of trail use. Most trail rides require a guide at The Cove, but there are trails everyone can try. We wound up on some pretty tough sections LY!
*There are ATV trails
*Lots of lakes to kayak, canoe, fish, etc. Fishing with Bass, Walleye, Pike, Crappie.
*Boats/Canoes can be rented at $10/hr, or bring your own @ $10/day. No gas motors on the lakes.
*They have a "rifle range" too!
Once you see it, you'll know why I put it in quotes...
*Alcohol is welcome and pretty much mandatory.
* Our campsites have 2 porta-potties and the Bath House with hot water/toilets is within walking distance.
*It is beautiful and quiet here.
