Love my 2013 4Runner, now dented rear bumper, HELP
So many questions, hoping for guidance. My dad backed into a sign, no one could see... even with the damn camera.
Wanting to know if the damage is going to require an entirely new rear bumper. Not sure how they repair the new plastic bumpers.

This may not be an appropriate forum to post this on, we however are out of town and are in need of advice.
Thanks, in advance.

I can't get the pictures to work. Any chance you have a different photo hosting site you could use?

if you have a Trail, i dented mine and i just went behind and popped it out.. the Limited/SR5 may be able to do it too but i don't know if you'll have the paint flaking.. that was one thing i liked about trading my Limited on a Trail

I've been dealing with the same thing after backing in to the babysitter's car. You can try popping it out from behind first. Some claim a heat gun will help but I haven't tried that yet. As far as repairing the bumper cover itself, some dents can be repaired and repainted but the labor costs nearly as much as just buying a new plastic piece.
