Cargo Bay Dividers ?

Hey Guys,

Did a quick google search but got nothing.

Does anybody know if there is a product out there to split your cargo bay in half? Specifically lengthwise?

Going to take our dog with us on vacation this year, and it would be nice if i could give the dog half the cargo bay for himself and divide the other half somehow so crap doesnt fall all over him when i make a turn.

Any thoughts?

I did this for a similar reason a few years ago. It was a one time deal so I used it and then took it apart. Go to Lowes or Home Depot and get you 1/2 sheet of 3/4" plywood. Cut it down on one side to 40". That will be your length side. Cut it (or get it cut) into three sections that will have 2 sections 12" wide and the third section will be 24" wide. I used the "optional" 2X4 gussets for strength but for your use you would not have to do that. I think I spent maybe $10.00 and it worked perfectly. Here is a quick diagram and where I have "48" that would be "40" for you.:

I think most people use a solid plastic or collapsible wire crate. Size is obviously dependent on the size of your dog. Some straps would tie the crate down. Someone added some cargo track in order to neatly and quickly be able to secure the crate.
