OEM Parking Sensors on TE?

Has anyone tried or have info on if this is possible? I did a search and couldn't find anything. Thanks!

All models have wiring specific to their options and nothing extra. You would have to run everything from the battery to the sensors with everything in between.

There are third party wireless products that may be much much easier.
Try Googling.

Red face

Coming from an sr5 with the sensors to a LTD I have thought about doing the same. I am aware of the aftermarket options but would love to have the OEM sensor switch where there is currently a blank. While the nav screen camera is good I am in the process of detraining myself to wait for the beep when backing up to my trailers.

Even if I get a no holes in the bumper sensor would like to use the oem dash switch with indicator light.

Umm.... I thought that all TE's came with back-up cameras. At least mine did. So why the need for sensors?

Because my wife squished the front of the FJ we had before this when trying to park in a parking lot. That's looking forward...looking backwards, not sure the back up camera is enough...aftermarket with OEM sensor button is a sweet idea!

Full oem is not possible. Unlike the FJs the 4runner harnesses are different for each trim level. I add the parking sensors to my fj but no go on the 4runner.

Thank you. Can you tell me how close to OEM is possible with aftermarket? Can an aftermarket kit be wired into the existing speakers so they are not standalone?
