Shameless Ask for Help Designing a Decal
Gents (and Ladies),
Some context:
As some of you know, I am planning to participate in the Vermont Overland Trophy
beginning Wednesday next week.
The event is a self-described "overlanding odyssey challenging man and machine while showcasing the best the Green Mountain State has to offer". In other words, this is going to be a total hoot.
One of the cool aspects of the event is that entrants are organized into 2-truck teams. My teammate is another local DC-area guy who drives a 2005 Excursion Diesel (lifted, locked, armored, and surprisingly agile for the size).
The Ask:
I'd really like to deck our trucks out with cool team decals for the event (I've watched too much NASCAR in my time), probably on the rear windows between the C and D pillars but I am open to suggestions. Our team name is TEAM DAILY DRIVERS and our motto is "Yes, I Commute in It!".
We both live in the DC area, so I was thinking about playing off of the Washington Nationals Logo , replacing the text on the outside with the team name (keeping the stars), and having red outlines (profile, or front view) of an Excursion and 4Runner in the center. I was thinking we'd get separate vinyl done for "motto" but haven't though that through completely.
Please let me know if you might be able to help or have better ideas, or if you don't have better ideas, but think mine sucks (since you're going to say so anyways).
Also if anyone has a recommendation on where to get these printed and delivered with the quickness that'd be great.
In exchange, I'll bring you back a souvenir from Vermont and/or the event itself as a small token of appreciation.
Cheers!
Ben

Ben talk to momo.75 (Morris) over 4th gen subforum about making the decals, he does that for the living i think and he is the one who makes all T4R.ORG decals. Maybe he can make them quick and then send it to you expedite delivery. Good Luck.

Those local sign places can get one done fast. I would get a big removable one for your door!

No time at work to mock something up, but the DD's and the outside "daily drivers" just are repetitive. I would:
Outside top: "Vermont Overland Trophy"
Outside middle: Star on each side like the Nationals logo
Outside bottom: "2013"
Inside: larger interlocking D's with the rest of the team name written out.
Daily
Drivers
In a grey outline behind the team name some Vermont scenery (stream, mountain, barn, tree).
