As
@ DannyLlama
already mentioned
@ ugamurph
just wrapped one up, but check with him and Mark/Justin at Shrockworks to see if you can still join in. The list ended with something like 37 orders so far, so they may be open to add one more to the end ....
Fingers crossed and good luck!

They seem to be having a lot of group buys lately!
Usually when every gets their orders from the group buys than they start another one.
Closely watch the General Discussion section as the last 2 GB's where in there.
I'm waiting for a GOBI group buy but it is never happening!

Thanks for the heads up, I guess I should check the general forum more often.

Maybe they'll do a mini GB for us. I want one too but was late on the last group buy. I'm up for it.

I'm actually looking into the logistics behind offering those trays for sale. The latest snag I ran into is machine time...The blanks are water jet cut which I can get the water jet time, but all of our CNC mills are permanently occupied with fixtured work pieces for the next few months at least. Also, just pricing the things out, I don't see how I could even offer them at a competitive price due to the labor (water jet cut, CNC milled, drilled and tapped), the finish (either powder coat or Cerakote like I used, then the stainless hardware and billet hold down strap, and then there is the relocation bracket for the P/S pump. I would honestly have to charge around $200 for the kit. I will look into getting some machine time and figure out ways to cut the cost down.

What about a method more like Harper7 did for his tray? That might make it easier to crank out and cheaper as well? Just a thought.

The ones from the ABR Sidewinder group buys came out close to $200 with shipping, exchange rate, and PayPal fees (and they'd be a lot more without group shipping) so yours would actually be pretty competitively priced.

I would be probably interested in getting 2 SOcalTRAIL battery trays one for each side, since the stock one is very crappy.

Yep, you just missed that one. I ordered everything possible you can get from them for the 4Runner minus the rear bumper... Here's to wishing they'll make a rear bumper that will be compatible with the Gobi ladder!
