I'm thinking this happened because of the short front OEM mud flaps. Very disappointing to see on a one-month-old vehicle. So I want to install some that hang lower down and give more protection. Those natural black plastic pieces are that way so that when they get pitted, scratched, and ripped the f*&k off, they don't show as much as painted parts. I think I left my front mud flaps somewhere in Utah.
