Nice, that looks great! I was thinking of trying exactly that as a PlastiDip test/first go.

Thank you. I used 3 coats on them. Gives it the old school Toyota Trucks look in a way.

Did the same to mine months back. I got the idea from another member on here. I like the look a lot.

I just used a rattle can of semi gloss black when I did mine. Has been almost a year and they still look fine.
Figure I can always shoot them again if it scratches up.

I do. Always loved that on the older Toyota pickups. I work for a trade show company that designs and builds exhibits. We have a massive graphics department. I had one of the designers here match the font and cut the vinyl for me.....for a 6-pack.

It looks fine. Is your 285/70/17 inside? My 285 fits in stock spare location.

That photo is the day I got the 285s mounted. Hence being all nice and shiny. The stock tires are in the photo in the rear. I still have a stock tire as the space. I plan on removing it and adding another 285 under there.

Did you get a clean cut around the little Toyota logos? Got close-ups? Thx!

Not sure how the OP did it, but the logos pop right off before dipping. Very easy.

These look great. I had already considered doing the whole wheels, but this is a great easy way to start. Thanks for the pictures!
