Light Racing UCA

Not sure if I have the right UCA. I have a 2013 SR5. I ordered p/n LR25480 from amazon. They showed up and I installed with a toytec 3" lift. On the drivers side the UCA fits snug (good thing?), no movement forward or aft. On the passenger side there appears to be about a 1/4" of movement forward and aft. Both sides torqued, it seems odd. With everything else hooked up it doesn't appear it would move forward or aft but the space is still there. Normal?

Measure your UCA mine was moving back and forth because they were defective and made slightly smaller. Measure from outside bushing to another outer side of bushing should be 12.3 inches, my defective ones were 12inches and .3 was enough for them to move.

Huh...That's interesting. A quick measurement with them both installed has the driver side near 12" while the passenger side appears to be near 11.5". Maybe this is my issue as well. Guess I will have to call SPC tomorrow morning. Thanks for the info it is greatly appreciated.

Yeah SPC made a bunch of defective ones and they took them off the shelf, but I was lucky to get defective ones and I think you too. They send me the new ones and no problem now. But I know both of them should be slightly over 12" that what SPC said.

So just to clarify...

You guys with 5th gen 4runners....p/n LR25480 is the correct one even though the website description says its for FJs and 03-09 4runners?

Light Racing (SPC) Sure have had a lot of quality issues with these arms. I had a set of the first ones with the rubber bushings that fell apart (sold those). I purchased a new set from metal tech on the group buy this year. They have been ok so far.
p.s : after reading this I ran outside and checked/measured mine. (Looks correct)

Off the phone with SPC...I need to call back and talk to the customer support dude that's out to lunch. Appears as though it is a defective one and they are going to send me a new one.
