Hey guys,
Just recently had the Toytec 3" Ultimate installed with light racing UCAs and Goodyear Duratec 285/70/R17s. I had the shop set it to 2.5" of lift just b/c I have a wife w/ a 1 month old...had to make sure she could get in and out ok before sending it up to the 3" level. With that said, what are your measurements after you got it lifted?
On mine, ground to bottom of fender in the front is 38" and ground to bottom of fender in rear is 39.5". Top of tire to bottom of fender in front is 6.5" and top of tire to bottom of fender in rear is 8". Ground to bottom of pumpkin in rear is roughly 10". The front end of the 4Runner seems to sit a bit lower so I guess I have the same issue that others have fixed. Just curious if others are in a similar ballpark?
Overall the lift has been great. The ride is great..not stiff at all. Very close to the smooth stock ride. Nose dive has improved drastically! Tire noise is hardly any different than it was with regular hwy tires. Even my wife said "I thought you said get ready cause these tires might be loud." Now just waiting for my Allpro sliders to be powdercoated and my Gobi Stealth/Budbuilt fairlead/TE parts to come in.
Just curious what you guys have for measurements? Any recommendations on what you think is the best setup as far as height in front and back? Not sure how I feel about the front being slightly lower than the rear. I realize the fenders on the 4runner are slightly different when comparing front to back...but I've seen a lot of guys do things to make it look even.
