Wow, that's crazy. Glad you're well. I must say, one benefit to living a little more north is we don't get that crap around here. Usually I see potato bugs, harmless spiders, and the odd ear wig or centipede (small ones).
Southern Ontario, where I used to live, has a climate/topography more like the mid-Atlantic states and northern Carolina's in the summer and the bugs are definitely more intense and more disgusting there. Fortunately, most of Canada and the northern US is frozen solid for 2 or 3 months of the year, giving few weird bugs any chance of surviving.
