Firestone Destination MT2 255/75/17

Got some new tires today!

Firestone Destination MT2 255/75/17 on a Toytec 2.5/1.5 spacer lift.

I initially bought 285/70/17 but decided to go with the 255's at the last minute... They look rad. I like the aggressive tread on a pizza cutter tire.

Since people always ask for info about tires, here's an article that will tell you all about all-terrains. Not all about the different tires, just about all-terrain tires in general. I was actually surprised at the good and UP TO DATE information in this article. It's definitely a plug for Toyos though:

Everything You Need to Know About All-Terrain Tires | Outside Online

17x8.5 stock suspension, 00 or -10?

Searched through this and multiple threads. There seems to be an endless amount of info (also read both the going bigger and wheel fit sticky threads)

I’m just curious with stock suspension, 265/70-r17 tires, would 17x8.5 wheels with 00mm or -10mm offset work with no running (or at most pushing liner back).

Is anyone running 255/75/17 with S/T 1.25" spacers on SR5/7" wheels? Bonus if it's with a 2/1 leveling kit. Double bonus if on a 2010-2013.

I'm pretty sure there will be no rubbing. I'm just trying to see how it looks from the front and if the tires stick out past the fender.

Well I fill two of the three requirements, I have a 2013 Trail Edition with a 2.5 front CO lift 2.0 spring in the rear and I am running Duratrac 255/75/r17's BUT on stock 8 hole Trail wheels. So my tires don't stick out past the fenders, also note this is a tall skinny tire by other tire comparisons. That said a stock sr5 wheel with a 1.25 spacer would more than likely be flush with the top of the fender, if not stick past a not-really-noticeable amount.

No f'n way mine will rub on anything, unless I fender out in a whoop. That isn't to say that if I added an 1.25 width, they would probably scuff something.

Thanks. Any pics from front or rear?

here is one from the rear favoring the driver side. these tires are over an inch narrower than my 285/70/r17 MTR’s. These are a great winter tire.

pushing these out 1.25 more would definitely get your tires flush or close to it with the top of the fender.
