If the nail is in the contact patch/where the tread is, it can likely be repaired. Just try going somewhere else if this is the case. When installed correctly, patches can even be successful at the sidewall transition. Plugs are not my favorite but can be beneficial.
Assuming its not patchable...

Replace one tire or all 4?

One Tire has a slow leak due to nail in sidewall. Cannot be patched. Dealer says all tires are at 9/32". He says its OK to replace just one tire.

Is this OK? Should I be concerned about the AWD drivetrain issues. Or is this negligible?

I’ve never gotten a clear answer on this. My 2012 Limited manual doesn’t say anything about it.

Minimally, change 2 tires (2 front or 2 rear) and never cross them to front+rear.

What is your new tire tread depth? 15/32? Assuming so, you would have (15-9)*2/32” or 12/32” or 3/8” less diameter on the old tire if you only replaced one tire. The new tire would rotate fewer times per mile as compared to the one at 9/32” tread, which is what causes stress on the diff.

Based on that, I do NOT advocate changing just one tire.

The other advice I got - change all 4 and sell the other 3.

Hey man, helpful tip assuming that's your jack, slip a pool noodle over the handle. Read that on here somewhere a long time ago.

So where is a good place to buy TRD wheels from four a good price?

And apparently the consensus on the stock Dunlop’s that come on ORP’s is their trash...

What’s a good tire similar to them that’s not super aggressive? I want to maintain the same on road feel as much as possible as stock.

I’ve always just gone with Michelin M&S or Duratracs. I want to branch out a bit ☺️

My dealer said they would match prices I find online. You may want to check to see if yours will do the same.

I have the TRD Pro Rims on my 2019. I've considered selling them because they sit so far into the body. I really like the looks of them though. Not big on spacers. Your rig looks great. It's hard to justify buying new wheels because the TRDs look so good..... at least from the side profile.

Thanks. Yeah you are right. I mean Toyota did good job with design of those rims , just wish they would be 8”+ wide and better off set, to push it out of wheel well.

The stance on your 4Runner looks great. I know a lot of members think the Pro wheels are overplayed, but, regardless, they are a great looking wheel. I ran 285-75-16’s on oem 7” wide wheels on my 3rd gen for over 150k miles without a problem airing down to 12-15lbs. Also, I am in the minority as I think the 285 tire/OEM Pro wheel combo offset looks good. BTW, what are your measurements from the center hub to the top of the arch on your fender front and rear?

Actually they are really close to tires like 0.25”. When I installed them, was keeping my eye on it for a while. Did ~ 7K miles, No rubbing 100%
