If you’re going for a 2020 ORP or Pro, and you don’t want to wait 3-6 months for the hype to die down, I would focus on finding a dealer that won’t go above MSRP.

2019 Voodoo Blue Pro with all season mats and side steps. MSRP was $48,700. Got it for $44,800. Couldn’t pass up the deal.

Trd orp
Just purchased an Off Road Premium for $37,500 (OTD = 39,400). MSRP was 42,7000. I feel like it was a decent deal after shopping around for a few weeks. It has the softex and the moonroof which were two things i wanted. Didn't include the blackout package which was fine with me. I would've preferred the trd grill but now I'm glad i didn't pay extra for it. I might be in the minority but i actually prefer the stock OR wheels over the black trd tires (at least with silver) and it didn't come with running boards which just saved me 15 minutes cause I would've removed them this weekend.
Currently driving a 05' runner and driving the new one home, it feels a lot bigger (might just be the big monthly payment that I was starting to feel) and the hood scope was more distracting that I was expecting but I anticipate I wont notice it after a day or two of driving it.
I got suckered into getting paint/interior package I plan on keeping it for 10 plus years and with 3 dogs on board I figured what the hell its worth a shot. Noticed before I drove off the lot that the protective film on the hood was ripped so i'll have to get it back up there to be replaced.
Overall, really excited to have another 4runner (this replaced my wife's Grande Cherokee) waiting for me to take over once mine shits the bed even if my bank account hopes its a few years down the road.

NJ resident but made my purchase in PA, trim was Off-Road Prem MSRP was $42,083 with the following options Moonroof, Running Boards all weather floor liners/cargo tray and door edge guards. Worked with the dealer to a final price of 37,200 before taxes and such.
I did not use Toyota financial and instead went with a local credit union and secured a rate below what Toyota was offering based on what the dealer advised. In fact the credit union killed it with the rate and beat every bank in my local area as well, highly recommend looking into one if you can.

SR5 Premium
hi, new here but i've been lurking for years.
Worked a deal on SR5 Premium w/3rd row, Wilderness Package, and running boards for $35,753 (MRSP $42,053)
Dealer is bringing in the color I wanted (Blue)
Located in Southeast PA in the Philly suburbs.
Best online quotes I had were 15.5% under MRSP then my local dealer matched them.

The best price I ever got on a new car was by, getting a pre-approved loan from my bank, then acting like I was going to finance through the dealer while negotiating, I talked them down on base price because they assumed they would make that money back on interest...once we settled on price, I hit them with my loan information, they couldn't go back on it.

Saturday is the end of the month. Low-ball them on a 2019, then walk out the door and wait for them to call near the end of the day. Last day of the month before the 2020s are out is a good time to get a deal. End of the year is the best time though. As in last day open.

Va 2019 orp
I just recently purchased a 2019 ORP through USAA's buying service here in SE VA. MSRP of $45,379, USAA price of $39,869 + TTL, so 12% off MSRP.
All of the dealerships in the area were roughly the same price. According to TrueCar, I was the lowest data point on the bell curve... I did factor in free oil changes & state inspections for life, as well as a lifetime warranty on the engine which was offered by the dealership.
I may have saved a few more hundred bucks if I waited until this weekend for any Labor Day sales or when the 2020's hit the lot, but I was more than happy with what I was offered for my POS Wrangler trade-in.

I have sent out request for quotes on a SR5 Prem. 4wd with the Predator XP package sunroof and sliding cargo. In Charlotte, NC.
MSRP $44422
Sale Price: 38745
TTL Fees $40,000
Similar vehicles are higher priced. This is best one so far. What do you guys think?

Do you have the price break down? Curious what are they charging for the Predator XP package?

Looking to pick up a new 2019 TRD off road in Texas. So far the best quote I’ve received has been -
MSRP: $41,800
Best Internet/Email quote : $35,850
What do y’all think? Would a sub 35K deal (before taxes etc etc) be possible?

That's a great deal.
I was quoted a similar price a few weeks ago and jumped on it.
I got my New 2019 TRD offroad premium with sunroof and all weather mats for 35,888 before TTL.
