I didn't get it yet, but that's what was promised, so asking an opinion on this deal:
2020 TRD OR Prem with KDSS
No Running Boards
No Moonroof
No sliding tray
All Weather mats
MSRP: $44,915
Sale Price: $40,000 plus tax, tags, fees. It's like 10.9% cut off msrp....
What do you gents think?

This forum was helpful for research when I was looking for a 4runner for my wife to replace her 235k Montero so I thought I'd add to the information.
She had largely decided on a grey limited nightshade awd and three weeks ago we went to a local dealer and compared a remaining 2019 to 2020, from her perspective the 2020 didnt justify the premium so we left with a 2019 for $44000 +tax.
IMO not the absolute bottom dollar and with another hour or two I could've prob had another $500 taken off but it's what she wanted so here we are.
Thanks to t4r for all the info!

We don’t know what it is, because it’s not on the monroney. Lots of places will charge a “destination fee” ON TOP of the manufacturers destination fee. This is why I said to see the monroney, that will show what your delivery fee is. And then a search will reveal what your states doc fee is.
If that’s a legitimate delivery and document charge, dang. I’d start lookin out of state.

Right off Toyotas site they show the delivery fee is right at $1125 or so I just assumed it was that same expense.

Won't have it yet, but....
I reached an agreement with a local dealer to order for me. They said it could take up to 16 weeks:
2020 Toyota 4Runner TRD Off Road Premium w/KDSS only in Magnetic Gray Metallic. No other options.
MSRP: $44350 (includes destination fee)
Dealer Fee: $899
Total Price: $45249
I am going to to be $45000 OTD
Purchase Price: $41,856
Discount: $3392
% off MSRP: 7.5%
Not the greatest deal, but it's exactly what I want and my deal could be significantly better if any factory incentives hit when I take delivery.

Fyi for anyone doing a search on cars.com. Some dealers are tacking $5k markup to the msrp on 2020’s, then listing them as 5k discount off msrp which is just “regular” msrp. Sneaky shitbags.

People are reporting better deals off the lot but that seems like a fine deal. MSRP was like what, right at $45k on that? I just ordered and got 41.3 for a special order at MSRP of $44.5K, so you got a good deal especially since your doc fees are only $179. Are you sure there's no other "dealer" fees they have yet to disclose.

Seems like prices on TRD Pros are holding pretty strong around lower 40s. Not sure I care enough about the TSS-P and new Infotainment.

I checked out a’20 Pro and went with a ‘19. Almost 5k off msrp. And got a few things thrown in. The differences were not worth the premium to be in the newest model year.

Just to confirm, the fine print - must be the initial owner, yes...but that’s it. I can take it to any Toyota service center and all parts are covered for as long as I drive the vehicle. That was just thrown on top of the $3300 off sticker for the AG pro

I personally think this is a decent deal compared to what I got. What was MSRP? Considering it's less than I paid plus you got the cargo shade and the cross bar and I didn't.
