Make sure you add back in the amount of money you lost by giving Uncle Sam a free $22,000 loan.

WHAT is this math? hahahahah. Tax refund?

You are taking $4k off of the price of a new vehicle because you didn't put that money into another vehicle/something else??

I actually got paid $50k to buy my 4runner.

I paid $30k, and skipped adding the $80k deck onto my house

That is some of the most retarded math I've ever seen.

I know you weren't talking about mine, but I did forget to add $800 for TRD Wheels. It adds up a little better now.

Had a dealer in N AL (Serra) quote me $2500 over MSRP for any cash OTD price or MSRP only as long as it is financed through Southeast Toyota at 3.99%. Super disappointed as they had been one of the better dealers in years past.

Deals in TX?

Any tips on a dealer in TX willing to go under MSRP? I'm hunting for a new Limited, looking to buy in the next 60 days or so. Would appreciate anyone's experience with purchasing new in TX. Many thanks all.

I got a cold offer of $32k for my 2017 SR5 Premium with 58k miles. I replied that they were well below the market rate.

If they bother to ask me what I want, I'll offer 44,625 OTD for a TRD Premium. That would lower my payment and only extend the loan 18 months.

I'm not holding my breath, but my plan is to be buried in what I've got, so I'm not exactly a motivated customer.

I am shocked that the blue book is $400 more than what I paid.

New 2022 Off Road Premium - NJ/NY

North Jersey - every dealer wanting over sticker - ain’t gonna do it.

Called over 40 dealers NJ, eastern PA, downstate NY, to see what they had coming in. $3k or more markup. Widened the search, dialing away. This one was still on the boat inbound, 7 weeks from initial chat to pick up.

Took a 6 hr train with the wife to Rochester, NY, nice overnight, picked up silver 2022 ORP

Paid MSRP, they threw in the black out badges. I’m ok with that - $160 under sticker…. Lol

Based on my calls, Upstate NY market is MSRP, no markup. I saw some in Ohio same. Dealers delivery before mine was another dude from NJ, doing the same thing….

Love the 4Runner.

Exactly what I did. I called about 30-40 dealers in the tristate and ended up finding a dealer North of Syracuse for a Lime Rush Pro at MSRP $53,997. Drove 6 hour from long island with my wife to pick it up.

I'm in New Mexico and have been looking at a Pro or ORP for months. Here's what I found in the area:

NM - ORP at sticker price but you have to pick from the allocation list and wait for it to arrive. Pro's tend to be $5-$10k over sticker price.

CO - ORP at sticker, same allotment rules. Pro's were $5-$10k over sticker price here as well.

AZ - Most were marking up their ORP inventory $2k or so, especially since I was out of state. Pro's were marked up $10-$25k (dealership in Prescott called me last week offering me one for $77,000) and not a single dealership agreed to sell me a Pro since I was out of state.

Durango Toyota found me an ORP in Army Green with Sunroof/KDSS/Premium Plus for $47,960. She hit port yesterday and will be on her way to the dealership soon.

I literally see them selling for $70k in south FL. Ridiculous! Wonder what the 6G is going to go for.
