Ah shit, you’re totally right, I missed the other 2 pages. They are giving you more for your trade and less off of the purchase price of the 4runner....this is why I have always been told to negotiate ONLY on the cash price of the new vehicle first. Then, after you are completely satisfied with the deal, you mention a trade.
Your price isn’t terrible at $37,xxx but it really isn’t great either. That is what some have been getting TRD ORP’s for lately. I will say that the awesome-deal getters have been working multiple dealerships and very hard, so if the pain in your butt isn’t worth it, then buy and be happy!

No worries it was my fault for not mentioning it. I lied about what I owe on the truck (I owe 2k less than what's on the sheet) I think I'm gonna roll in there with a check for 34,600 and see what happens. If not we still have a whole lot of 2019 to go
and keep in mind this is a 2019 also

Looking for TRD ORP 2018 or 2019 between NY and FL
Hi All,
I'm looking for a deal on a 2018 or 2019 TRD ORP with just a sunroof. or with KDSS if the deal is right and it is the only way to get a great 2018 leftover deal.
Anyone have experience with a Dealer between NY and FL?
I bought my 2007 Taco TRD Long Bed Crew Cab from SC and got an incredible deal. But they dont seem as interested right now.
I'm looking for a few dealers to work on.
I have one out of SC but need comparisons and competitors with stock.
Was going to trade my Taco in but am getting great traction locally to sell it.
Thanks

Currently in (email) 'talks' with a few SoCal dealers as I look to get a 2019 OR Prem (with KD+MR+CD). Each of their INITIAL starting offers (pre-tax+fees, and before any real negotiation) are around $42,000-$42,500.
I haven't asked for any invoice pricing yet (should I even?), so I'm not quite sure what strike price to shoot for, which would constitute a 'good deal'.
Also wondering if I should expand my search geographically -- NorCal doesn't seem to have the CD option at all, and the Vegas dealers haven't been responsive at all. Talking to one AZ dealer right now. Should I even bother exploring dealerships in ID/UT/CO? Not sure I fancy a 10-15 hour drive back to LA, but I'd do it if the difference is a few thousand $.

2018 TRD ORP (thats so weird for me to say since I used to own a trail).
KDSS, Wilderness package
$38,700 + TTL. No trade in. Probably not the best, but I was pretty happy with it.

Just picked up my 2018 OR, not much in terms of options, just exhaust tip and all weather mats I believe. With the 1k incentive it was 36.5, so right around 40 OTD after California’s crazy TTL. Really excited to have it, coming from a 3rd gen which is still my daily until I sell it.

2018 sr5
Got a quote for a new 2018 sr5 4x4 (white, beige interior) with running boards, phone cable charge package, entune prem w/ nav for $34,060. $5k off MSRP.
I got this quote through my "Perks at work" company discount.
I believe the bs dealer fee is $599 and title fee is $98.
So the total will come to roughly $37,142 with tax and fees.
Good deal?

ok deal. I got a quote from a dealer for a SR5 Premium for $34300. You could probably work another $1k off your price.

I asked him for a quote on an SR5 premium just now. $35,076 ($6k discount).
It's grey (not my fave option), running boards, description says all weather mats, and pictures show a sunroof.
Total out the door price with fees and tax is $38,323.
Is that comparable with the options yours had?
