Thanks pal.

I agree that's what people mean when they say OTD to a dealer, but it makes no sense in this thread. Why would people compare prices including TTL when TTL varies so much state-to-state and even city-to-city?

New to the forums here, anyone having any luck in NorCal? Dealers out here are quoting around 50k OTD for a TRD ORP.

MSRP: 47,769
Sale Price: 46500 + TTL

These prices are outrageous right now.

2020 Silver TRD ORP new pricing central NJ

I am looking for a 2020 silver TRD ORP near 08809. I am seeing MSRP of @ $43k. What can I expect to pay before TTL? I really don't want to go over $40k. Think $38k or $39k possible? If anyone knows of good dealer in NJ or eastern PA, please let me know. Thank you!

2020 Pro. Just south of $51k (thank god for a healthy trade-in value).

IÂ’m looking for something similar in the western Chicago burbs. 3rd row and sunroof.
What did it end up being after TTL?

Is anyone else having trouble finding a decent price for an ORP with KDSS?

Dealers near me (SoCal) don't seem to want to go below 50k OTD.

I bought from Koch33 in Easton PA, corresponded via email with a sales rep, Cody Allen. 2019 TRD ORP with KDSS, truck was in stock at the time. NJ dealers in my area (Hunterdon/Warren Counties) would not come down more then $2500 and then if they did there was nonsense add on pricing. I came in at $4500 under MSRP. Plus NJ dealers have insane DOC fees, PA is capped at around $170 I believe.

That was a year ago though and now I see very little or no 4Runner stock right now which might kill haggling.

$50k? That’s TRD Pro prices! I’m in the PNW and I’ve been messaging dealerships for an ORP with KDSS since late June and it seems like inventory levels are stabilizing again. The best deal I’ve gotten has been $41,750 (before national rebates and TTL) for a car that’s $45,644. That’s about a 10% discount after the current $500 off rebate and I have another dealership seeing if they can beat $41,750 by $500.

My advice is to expand your search to a 500 mile zone and email every dealership that has an ORP with KDSS. Even though you may want a car in specific color, email every dealer regardless as you’re really just looking to get an offer at a great price that you can use to compete with dealerships that have the exact car you want.

Some didn’t want to play ball but I was able to start getting unofficial discounted prices in email. Once I got an offer for $43,800 for a car at $46,889, I told that dealership to draft up the official “motor vehicle purchase agreement” form. With that form, I really got the ball rolling and sent that form to every dealership and asked if they could beat it. Rinse and repeat.

Just remember that as much as you need to be incessant in getting the best price you should also be respectful and courteous. I think being someone a salesperson wants to work with goes a long way.

Just picked up a white 2020 ORP with KDSS and moonroof.
Coming from a 2002 4runner, I love this thing!

Paid $42.7k
OTD $46.8

Would you mind sharing which dealer that is? I'm looking for TRD ORs but dealers don't seem willing to budge at all. I may end up ordering a base TRD OR.
