You realize "Out the Door" means that it includes TTL right? That's the issue with threads like this, it's hard to keep it from becoming apples to oranges.

OTD means just that, not plus anything.

Which dealership did you purchase from? I am in SoCal and looking for basically the exact car.

looking for a 4runner

Hi
I am a Newbie to this forum. My wife started to test drive a 4runner yesterday at the dealers. 1st one dealer didn't have the limited, but had the TRD PRO. Sales dude said, we are selling those as MSRP, no discount. Whatever.

the 2nd dealer had the limited, this is going to be my wife's car. we drove it for couple miles out then stopped at strip mall to get to know the truck better. Then I saw the sticker... it was around $50,300 then they added a mark ups... etching, antimicrobial disfectant, that alone was like $1300 plus, etc... the mark ups was about $2500... I was like wtf?? why would any pay for mark ups on a 4runner?!?! I got back to the dealer, the sales guy asking me questions and sales manager came over. I wasn't buying right then and now. That dude knew that I wasn't buying and just got up left the desk. Its crazy what 1 dealership compare to the other. This one was such a typical sales car dealership that put up a show for you it seems so fake!

I am looking for a Nautical Blue Metallic in Redwood Leather with 3rd row seats.

She also likes the highlander too with all the tech... but 4runner was SOLID truck!

Be patient and willing to travel a little. Nautical Blue with the Redwood is a sweet combination. Probably doesn’t sit on lots very long. Keep searching and best wishes!

Wanted a Trd premium with kdss. Was quoted 41100 for a Trd premium with moonroof but without kdss. A Venture was in stock with kdss, moon roof and floor mat package, cargo net, locking lug nuts 44450. The Venture is in my driveway now. I was unable to locate any Premiums with kdss in my region.

Original i wasn’t fond of the Venture (silver/blacked out trim) but it is growing on me buy the day. Plan on removing roof carrier because not much need and make the 4Runner standout to much for my liking. Will drive it as is for a couple of weeks before making a decision.

Try these.
Driverbase: Search Cars, Trucks, and SUVs for sale (Photos, Ratings, & Prices)

I found mine with Driverbase.
It was the only one in the country at the time without options I did not want to pay for...
Running boards, 3rd row, sliding deck, etc.

You get your area narrowed down, then use CTRL+F with your search terms.
Makes it quicker to zoom through the pages.
They pull down the listing and VIN when it is sold.

How much are people paying for the NEW 4Runner?

See my post 6676

Buy the truck in MA. I searched all over NJ, NY, NC, SC, GA, FL and other places.

Prime Toyota Route 2 has the best internet deals. Call Roy and tell him what you want.

They will come down on non TRD PRO.
I picked up a Nightshade for a few grand off.
See 2-3 floor guys at the same dealer if you want and you will see this depending on your approach.
They take your number and/or email and can see what other dealers you are working with, as a lot of dealers in NJ, maybe nationwide, are now under a conglomeration now.
Penske Automotive Group....

I don't want to go into the rest that I had typed out as some may get offended with my approach.
Basically, "I am not here to waste my time, or yours"
"You leave once, okay. Leave twice and so do I"

I have used 5 dealers in the NY/NJ/PA area so far.

Took delivery this morning after placing a deposit 90 days ago.

Paid sticker, plus 899 for rock sliders (I know the OE ones are not the same caliber as aftermarket ones), and 2 hrs labor for their installation and removal of the roof rack.

still searching...

So today i looked at Cars.com

I found a Blue one with Redwood leather in 3rd row.
I called Del Toyota in thorndale, pa, said someone else is looking at too... MRSP was around $49,000, they offered $47,000... wouldn't move on the price at all.
TFS 2.9% for 60 months.
they called me back in 10 mins, the car is gone!

So i called Koons Tyson in Vienna, VA they had the same vehicle... around $49,500, selling at $47,500... the sales manager wasn't ready to sell it... doc fee at $899... I was like $899??? Thorndale, PA dock fee was $324! We will keep looking... If I have to, I'll go get a Gray with Redwood leather.

man, the market sure has changed ALOT!!!

Great forum and my first post. This is my third 4Runner. I'm parting with my 2004 V8 that I will miss dearly.

I got my super white TRD premium last week. Supply is nothing around here. Paid sticker and got the $1000 cash back. Kearney Mesa Toyota had it. It had just gotten off the truck and I was able to stop them from putting in $1000 alarm that costs them $50. Another couple came in to sign for it just as we signed the papers. Demand is high and supply is low here. Wait if you can. Mossy was the worst. $3-5k over what I paid and no explanation as to why.
