Looking at a '21 ORP in MGM w/ nothing but all weather mats. Unfortunately, my head hits the headliner of moonroof models (tall dude) and nobody around here (SW OH) has KDSS vehicles, so bare bones it is.
Dealer advertised price is right at $40k even on an MSRP of $43.6k. They have 4 ORPs in stock and a zillion Limited's/NS's (like the other dealers around here). They are a good bit lower than other local dealer advertised prices, but there aren't a bunch of ORPs within 75 miles of me.
Guess I'll make an offer and go from there, but not expecting much. Maybe I can get some crossbars.

with NJ tax that would bring it back it up to over $50k... maybe I should look at a Highlander, at least they are discounting them alot more than a 4runner... but a 4runner is so SOLID!!!
I called Carmax dealer in Laurel, MD, apparently it got sold to Sheehy Dealership... said they can get one soon... I am waiting on their numbers, that's about 2 hrs from my house.
I found one in WI and one in KY... I dont wanna fly there to drive it back...
if the deal is like SUPER awesome like $43k... yeah I'll do it then.
I'll take a day off work.

I think a few have. Last time I had a vehicle moved across the country it was 6-800 for an open trailer. Not a bad experience but I wouldn't want to do it with a brand new vehicle. For that money I would fly to the origin city and drive it home. A lot of folks on here have done that.

I don't know anything about that dealer. They had Pro early on in my shopping but it was gone before I could make the drive. Somerset is a small rural town. Swope Toyota in Etown is probably the best dealer in the State. I had a good experience with Toyota of Louisville. Oxmoor Toyota in Louisville probably has the largest stock and are ok. Toyota of Bowling Green is super aggressive and will promise the world but seem to want to shove a lot of add-ons down your throat. Good luck-if you end up at one of the Louisville dealerships let me know-i could look at vehicle or recommend a salesperson for you.

it was $600 to $800 to move it??? wow...
I have been searching and Indiana just popped up one. I really don't want to fly cause of all these covid restrictions and what not. Indiana back to NJ is a long drive that's what kills me...
I have been talking to this Laurel, MD dealer, i asked the guy several times are they able to allocate it from the port... he hasn't update me for like past 3 days... Im going to call him back today (listen, I need a new vehicle soon... I can't wait around on you cause I need to sell our car to our niece cause she is getting her license next month, dont have time to be stringing me along here)

Just purchased the following 4Runner for $45.6k out the door. 2021 Toyota 4Runner Limited in Blizzard Pearl with the Redwood interior ($48,697 MSRP). Ended up using Costco and then working the deal down a bit from there. Sale price breakdown looks like this:
MSRP: $48,697
Selling Price: $43,906 (9.8% off pre-rebate)
Rebate: $1,000
Purchase price: $42,906
I live in an area with pretty high dealer fees ($799) and 4.15% sales tax on vehicles. So that plus tags/license is where the remaining cost comes from.

2021 Premium
Guys I'm considering a:
2021 Premium black softex and 3rd row, sunroof, carpet mats. Silver. 4x4.
(Georgia)
MSRP: $43917 before TT&F
Sales price: $38917 before TT&F
$5K discount. (11%)
I'm on the fence.
Thoughts?
Thanks in adnvance.

The price is good however be aware of the “add on” line items. It seems like the southern states have a lot of stuff they bill you for that are over priced and have little value.

Morristown Toyota has a decent selection right now. I had a good experience there. They have a couple Limiteds (one nightshade), and a blue Venture. No Redwood, however.

Very good buy here. Like the other person said though, watch out for the "side sticker" add ons.

Seems like a fair price. With the state of the market I think any discounts are good. Some people are paying over MSRP.
