Max Safe Spacer Lift with XREAS?

Hi all, sorry if this is a repost but I spent about 30-40 minutes searching the forums for an answer to my question and couldn't find one...

I just need to know one thing: What is the biggest spacer I can use on my 2013 Limited with XREAS without damaging the system?

All I want to do is level out the front end to gain a little additional clearance for my new wheel/tire set up that rubs a little. Based on what I've seen/read, and my measurements, that should only take about 1" of lift. Any input/experienced insight would be greatly, greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Be careful - Mr. Crankypants hates when people post a question that was answered some time in history. Search 30 days then ask...

I used a 3 inch spacer up front and a 2 inch in the back. I've had them on for about 2.5 years with out any issues.

Thanks for the response. I just looked up the Readylift kit and it says it's not compatible with XREAS... It worked for you though?

PS - Love your set up. Looks awesome!

I am stubborn and do what I want. I used it anyway. It works no problem on XREAS.

The key is to find a shop that can do it without f'ing up your xreas.

Made a Decision

Decided I'm going with this 2.5/1.5" kit from Toytec that's approved for XREAS, according to them:

3" lift / leveling kit for FJ & 4Runner

If whatever shop installing it messes up my XREAS, that'll be on them.

Which shop you going to have install? What are they going to charge?

What wheels/tires are you going to match up with this setup. I'm just curious - have a 2014 LE on order (which may eventually be built )

Hey Jim,

Crazy story... If you recall our conversations via PM, I wasn't planning on even doing a lift. However, Discount Tire messed up my wheel/tire combination so many times (long story, on my 3rd set of wheels!) that they're now paying for this lift to clear the rubbing issue I'm experiencing with the wheels they told me would fit properly.

Here's my current set up - 20 X 9.0" LRG 104s with 275/55R20 Nitto Terra Grapplers.
