My Super White 2014 TE Prem.
I decided to do a Plasti Dip project today. I did the rims, front part on front bumper, rear part on rear bumper, and roof rack soon. Looks so much better than factory look IMO ;-)

Looks AWESOME. I always wondered what the lower silver part of the front bumper would look like if it was black. And yup, it looks great as I expected. Good job.
What mods do you have planned?

I want to lift it aliitle and get some beefy tires. My cousin and I are gonna do our own bars to go around the bumpers. Im sure I will do more mods to her but these are just a few that came to mind ;-)

That looks really good! I think it would be a good look for my silver as well. I was also thinking about doing the center painted grille piece.
Since I have no experience with plastidip, areas like the wheels and bumpers that will be getting in contact with road debris, etc, how often do you need to reapply. I like the idea of plastidip, but re spraying little knicks from rocks and offroading every few months would get old over the years. Has anyone tried to cover it with some sort of clear for added protection?
Any insight from anyone with more experience with the product?
Thanks

This is my first time using Plasti Dip. From what I heard, its really tough. No need to respray or anything. Just make sure u put about 4-6 coats.

@ nguyenn
can you please post a photo of your front-end from, say 15 feet or more away when you find time ??? thanks ...I want to see how the black plasti-dip has 'fixed' the looks of the 2014 front-end when looking at it from afar.... Reason for this is that the so-called 'ugliness' of the 2014 becomes more apparent the farther you are from it whereas , up-close ,its looks real good. thats how it looks to me anyway.
