Help on my rig set up. Thanks in advance.

Hello 4Runner gods,
I have a 2014 Trail KDSS. I'm running SCS Stealth 6 wheels and yes, they are beautiful. Lol. I'll b adding a Toytec 3" lift BOSS system. The great guys at Red Line Landcruisers down in Colorado Springs will perform the lift install (Great guys).
Considering my wheel size (17x8.5). Which size of Duratracs Ican be safely install without rubbing? I won't cut or do any sort of lining mod. If I touch it, I'll brake it. I'm a gorilla. Plz keep in mind I've been using the search button.
Best regards,
Thanks in advance.

*I believe the size chart below was made for stock wheel sizes*

If you want to run DuraTracs without rubbing on a 17" wheel regardless of width you need to keep stock size (265/70/17). They only come in stock size and 285/70/17. If you go with 285s they will rub without any fender mod.

There are several people here who run 265/70/17 DTs with a 3" lift and IMO it looks great since the DT is a pretty aggressive AT tire (@Antman is the only one that comes to mind right away - see his build thread for pics). Pics can be found in the lifted pics thread. I don't remember the pages though you'll just have go through it.

Truck looks good BTW

If I thought or had heard of ANY wheel that you could run 285 tires and not rub I would have colored it green with a note. Some wheels are better than others but I built the chart on an optimal BS and offset regardless of wheel width.

You'll regret not getting 285's with a 3" lift. Almost every person that had 265's ends up saying they wish they would have gotten 285's. Just do the UCAs and fender mod and you'll be fine.

You guys are great. Your feedback is very valuable to me.
Crazy question.

Are bigger tires and lift going to affect suspension travel? having KDSS and all.

I never had a vehicle that I was so excited about. I had Bmw's, Mercedes & a Porsche. This is the perfect Colorado vehicle. If you want to go camping or off roading that is.

You are right. I'll just ask the shop to add the uca that I can choose when purchasing my toytec lift. I'll see if they can do the lining mod too.

Yes sir. I'll ask the shop to do it. They sound like very knowledgeable people.

Great, that gives an idea. I'm going to do light off road but the big tires and lift just look cool. Thanks.
