Yup, but I'm at the end of the line (manufacturing). Rarely do I see anything before everyone else. .... But sometimes.

Um.. I posted a video link in post 30 that won't get pulled down at Toyota TRD Pro TV Commercial, 'Desert Gas Station' - iSpot.tv
I can post new links when new videos get posted with solid, reliable links... you know, should a part two come out.

So the question becomes, is this just an 'appearance' package with a mild lift new badging, wheels and a grill or will there be changes to the engine or items added to the engine.... ??
There are the people who know and the people that want to know.
Edit: There are also the people who don't care too. Can't forget about them.

my guess would be the appearance package. I'd be shocked if there were any engine changes.

tell that guy to email you a copy of the videos, then take screenshots and post them everywhere... rename the files "pink rhino" i doubt toyota could find them all!!
also, Pines Toyota posted the tv commercial on youtube. I sent an RFI to the sales team to try and acquire some more info.

According to this site they are saying a new off road Tundra will be unveiled at the 2014 Chicago Auto Show. So I am thinking the 4Runner and Tacoma will be unveiled too (if this is accurate).
At the 2013 Chicago Auto Show, Toyota unveiled the 2014 Tundra so this might be a 2015 model.

4runner TRD Pro
This doesn't show anything but thought I would add it for reference.

so I had a conversation with a sales guy at the above mentioned dealership about the TRD Pro kit... this is all from his mouth:
"Two words, Raptor... Killer..." in reference to the Tundra TRD Pro Kit
"The TRD Pro Kit is replacing the Baja T/X series from the Tacoma"
"Suspension will use upgraded Bilstein's, extended travel rear shocks"
"2-3" lift kit"
"TRD Wheels, beadlocked" (probably simulated again)
"Large Fender Flares"
"Possible 8 speed trans" (I'm assuming in the Tundra)
"He heard a rumor about having LED lights as well, and he did namedrop Rigid Industries"
I asked about the supercharger, and he said at his meeting on Monday when this was all put out, there was a hint of performance upgrades, but no information was given to him then"
He has my contact info and will call me back as soon as he can confirm/release any additional information.... we shall see

My sources say there will be options of a V-8 or the 4.0 w/ S/C.

I'd think the TRD exhaust and intake would be included, as they were on the Baja T/X series... I wonder if the v8 could be supercharged??? man, this would be a tough choice as the v8 would definitely have a higher tow rating... but the supercharger, on demand torque... I'll stop what daydreaming and just hope its released at the Chicago Auto Show in 2 weeks...

And that is reason I am waiting to buy my first 4runner....the V8. If it is true hopefully they couple it with a 6speed tranny.
