No, don't worry that's exactly how it comes, Toyota is just cheap like that, lol.
EDIT: I think I've read that the LE comes with this little plastic "skid" plate thing that clips onto the two empty tabs you see at the end of the rear skid plate; hence why it looks like we're missing something.

The SR5/LE's do come with a dinky partial gas tank skid plate. It is bolted on and not with clips
@ eddiebx
OP - From your picture it looks like it's a full skid plate though. If i'm looking at this right, the wheels are turned so that's the front of the car.
Are you referring to the gas tank skid or another skid?

Show me on the picture where you see the gas tank Danny, lol.
I know this picture sucks, but do you see that tiny little extra flap of plastic on this picture of the 2010 LE: Is the SR5 missing frame reinforcement?
We SR5 and TEs don't have that one, hence why we have two empty tabs at the end of the front skid plate. From what I understand, the plastic deflector plate thing that the LE comes with clips there. This is where I read about it: Missing Skid Plate

Here:
All joking aside, I guess I am not looking at the picture right or understanding.
Now I'm just more confused... So the LE is missing these skids?

Thanks, I guess I never noticed those tabs before. There is also another hanger further back on the driver's side that looked lonely, so I was wondering...
What is this hanger for?

You tell me Danny, you're the one with the LE! Get us some upskirt shots of your truck, I've never been able to find a clear picture of this mythical LE plastic deflector thing, lol.
From what I understand the stock skid plate on the SR5/TE consists of the front piece that comes off to access the oil filter and the rear piece that has the little cutout door to access the oil pain drain bolt. Then the LE has in addition to that this little plastic plate that clips to two tabs on end of the rear piece (the one with the oil pan drain bolt cutout).

Missing Part?
Limited only, plastic piece that Toyota calls a "cover" would likely fly off in a light breeze. Looks unfinished with those bare tabs though.

Danny, I can't quite tell but it almost looks like you're missing the rear of the OEM skid plate all together?! The section where there's the cutout for the oil drain bolt...
No wonder you were so confused earlier, lol.

The best way I can explain this is...you see the two "crossmembers" that run between the front and rear LCA adjustment cams? There should be a factory skid covering that spot. Go compare the picture with the one from OP, it seems like you might be missing the skid with "the tabs", lol. I might be wrong though, I can't really tell from your picture, it's so dark and antman-esque.
